Yulan Yuan

Yulan Yuan is an Associate Professor at Tunghai University since August 2017, where also serves as Vice Dean of International Relations, reflecting a commitment to fostering international academic collaborations. As a Board Member of the Asia Pacific Tourism Association since 2016, Yulan Yuan contributes to enhancing research activities among scholars in the Asia region. Yulan Yuan was a Board Member of International Affairs for the Taiwan Geopark Network until August 2022, focusing on environmental conservation and sustainable development as advocated by UNESCO. Additionally, Yulan Yuan served as a Corporate Member Representative for the Homemakers Union Consumers Co-op and participated in the Scientific Committee of the International Federation for Information Technologies in Travel and Tourism until August 2022, contributing to the advancement of information and communication technologies in the tourism industry. Yulan Yuan holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
