Emily McGrath

Emily McGrath has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to communications, marketing, and public affairs. Emily started their career as a Government Relations Department Intern at Opperman Heins & Paquin in 1989. Emily then worked as a Government Affairs Office Assistant at Panasonic North America in 1993. After that, they served as a Legislative Assistant at North State Advisers from 1994 to 1996. Subsequently, they worked as a Legislative Liaison at the Minnesota Department of Health in 1996. Emily then returned to North State Advisers as the Director of Client Communications from 1997 to 1999. Following this, they worked as the Assistant Director of Public and Community Affairs at PARKER HUGHES INSTITUTE from 1999 to 2001.

In 2001, Emily joined Tunheim as the Director of Integrated Communications, a role they continue to hold. In 2017, they briefly served as the Sponsorship Director at Maker Faire. In 2021, they became the Interim Head of Communications and Marketing at Accra. Finally, in 2022, they took on the position of Co-Chair of the IPREX Best Practices Committee.

Throughout their career, Emily has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of communications and marketing, as well as a strong understanding of government relations and public affairs.

Emily McGrath attended Bard College from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture at the University of Maryland from 1991 to 1993. Emily also holds a certification in Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership, which they obtained from LinkedIn in January 2019.
