John Ponte

John Ponte is the Senior Director of the Gold Star Family Home and Smart Home Program at the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. John is a veteran of the US Navy, having served from November 1981 to November 1985 as an Aviation Ordnanceman / Aviation Warfare Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for loading ordnance on A6e aircraft and personally responsible for all arming and dearming of all ordnance loaded on aircraft when landing and taking off aboard the USS America during flight ops.

After their time in the Navy, John worked at Metro Custom Installations before joining the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. John has been with the Foundation for over 10 years and has been instrumental in helping to provide homes for families of fallen service members and first responders. John is a committed advocate for those who have served our country and continues to work tirelessly to support their families.

John Ponte joined the U.S. Navy as a PO2 in the aviation ordnance field. John attended Catskill High School.

Their manager is Frank Siller, Chairman & CEO. John Ponte works with Larry Olson - Vice President, Marketing & Communications, Jeanna Dellaragione - Executive Vice President, and Matt Mahoney - Executive Vice President.
