Dimitri Backaert

Dimitri Backaert is an accomplished engineer and executive with extensive experience in product development, engineering management, and research and development (R&D) at Tupperware General Services NV since 1993. Currently serving as Vice President of Worldwide Engineering and R&D and Vice President of R&D Operations, Dimitri has held various leadership roles, including Senior Director and Director of the engineering team, with a focus on developing innovative European products and managing global R&D efforts. Dimitri's career also includes an engineering role at Organic Waste Systems and service as an Officer Recce in the Belgian Army. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
