Jared Hegwood

Jared Hegwood is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management and academia. Currently serving as General Manager at Turan Foley Chev Cad Buick since December 2017, Jared previously held positions at Augusta University from January 2009 to December 2017 as an Assistant Professor and at The University of Southern Mississippi as a Visiting Instructor from August 2004 to December 2008, teaching various courses in literature and writing. Additionally, Jared contributed as an Assistant Editor for the Cushman Foundation's Journal for Foraminiferal Research and worked as a Public Affairs Writer and Copy Editor for the United States Department of Defense. Jared earned a PhD in English Language and Literature/Letters from The University of Southern Mississippi between 2004 and 2007.
