Christian Seliger has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Christian started their career at Turck Beierfeld GmbH in 2005, where they held various roles in product development and launch, research and development, and custom product development. From 2010 to 2011, they served as the Head of Custom Product Development, and from 2012 to 2017, they were the Head of Research and Development. Christian then took on the role of Vice President of Product Development and Launch from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, they joined Turck as the Business Unit Manager for Automation Products, and later in 2023, they were promoted to the position of Vice President of Research and Development. Additionally, in 2023, they became the Managing Director of Turck Electronics GmbH.
Christian Seliger obtained a Staatlich geprüfter Techniker degree in Elektrotechnik from Berufliches Schulzentrum für Technik III Richard-Hartmann-Schule Chemnitz in the years 2003 to 2005. Christian then went on to earn a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Wirtschaftsingeniuerwesen from Hamburger Fern-Hochschule between 2006 and 2010. Christian continued their education at the same institution, completing a Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur (FH) degree in Wirtschaftsingeniuerwesen from 2011 to 2012. Christian further pursued higher education at Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule, receiving a Master of Business Administration degree in Engineering Management for the academic year 2014 to 2015. In addition to their formal degrees, Christian also holds several certifications in various fields such as Agile Coaching, Scrum Master, Six Sigma Lean Black Belt, and Patent Engineering, obtained from institutions such as Steinbeis Augsburg Business School, Management & Strategy Institute, and Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena. Christian has also obtained various further education and training certificates from different institutes.
