Ivy X. L. has a wealth of work experience, starting in 2013. That year, they were a Statistical Programmer Intern at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, where they prepared clinical trial study deliverables using SAS and SQL, mapped clinical raw data to CDISC standard format SDTM, and programmed computational response assessment. Ivy X. then worked as a Data Scientist Intern at SOCURE in the same year. In 2014, they moved to Truveris as a Data Scientist. In 2015, they joined Shutterstock as a Data Scientist, where they productionized Deep Learning based computer vision service, powered similar image search, reverse image search, image auto-tagging, and won the 2017 Shutterstock annual Hackathon for prototyping a visual similarity search Chrome plugin. In 2018, they became the Co-Founder and CTO of Phiar, where they developed a revolutionary augmented reality vehicle navigation platform with advanced artificial intelligence ADAS functionalities, powered by their latest computer vision and deep learning innovations. The company was acquired by Google. In 2019, they became the Owner of Studio Xolo. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Turing Labs Inc. as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer.

Ivy X. L. received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in 2012. Ivy X. then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Statistics from Columbia University, which they completed in 2014. In 2018, Ivy X.
