Alexandra Pereira has extensive experience in the tourism and investment sectors, currently serving in the Departamento de Relações Internacionais at Turismo de Portugal since November 2022, following a role in Gestão de Crédito within the Direção de Apoio ao Investimento. Prior to this, Alexandra worked as a Procurement Contract Manager and Técnico Superior at the Agência para o Desenvolvimento e Coesão, IP from July 2021 to October 2022. From September 2008 to June 2021, Alexandra held various leadership positions at Turismo de Portugal, including Team Lead Manager, Diretora Coordenadora da Direção de Qualificação Formativa e Certificação, Project Manager, and Diretora da Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril. Alexandra's educational background includes a Programa Avançado de Gestão para o Turismo from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics in 2014 and a Licenciatura in Controlo Financeiro from Instituto de Contabilidade e Administração de Lisboa, completed in 1991.
