Ali Şener

Born in 1950 in Samsun, Ali ŞENER graduated from Ankara Economic and Commercial Sciences Academy in 1972. In the same year, he started his civil service life in Samsun Azot Sanayi Türk Anonim Şirketi and continued his duty as a manager in various units of the company until 1983. In 1983, he left the civil service and started to work in the private sector. He retired in 1997 after 25 years of service in the public and private sectors. Following his retirement, he worked as a Financial Advisor to many private companies between 1997-2002.

He served as a member of the board of directors in various Non-Governmental Organizations, a member of the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Assembly, the Presidency of the Budget and Final Accounts Committee, and the Chairman, Vice-President and Member of the Board of Directors of Public Institutions and Organizations. Ali ŞENER, who started to work at the Turkish Education Association in April 2003 and has been serving as the Deputy General Manager in the same institution since January 2005, was appointed as the Deputy General Manager in July 2021. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of TED Institutions and Schools, a member of the Supervisory Board and the Founder's Representative, and continues to do so.
