Erdem Okur

Erdem Okur has an extensive work experience in the banking and technology sectors. Erdem started their career in 1998 as a Technical Support Engineer at Aselsan. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as a Software Engineer at Garanti Teknoloji, where they were involved in the Treasury and Customer Division and played a role in the development of a new product called Apple Account. Erdem then joined Akbank in 2001, initially as a Software Specialist and Associate Manager, responsible for corporate cash management products. From 2011 to 2015, they served as the Corporate Integrations Manager in the IT department of Akbank. In 2015, Erdem joined Turk Eximbank as the IT Vice President, responsible for the infrastructure of all export-import banking applications. Erdem later became the Head of Software Development and Business Innovation, overseeing IT banking applications and project management. Currently, Erdem holds the position of Deputy CEO (Technology & Operation CIO/COO) at Turk Eximbank, where they are responsible for various IT and operational functions.

Erdem OKUR completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management at Marmara Üniversitesi from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Middle East Technical University from 1995 to 1999 for Computer Engineering. Erdem also completed their Collegae degree in Science at Meram Science High School from 1992 to 1995.
