Eric Liu is a UX Engineer at Render since August 2021, with previous experience as a Design Technologist at IBM from May 2017 to July 2021, where Eric led the development of the Carbon Components Svelte, part of the open-source Carbon Design System. During the time at IBM, Eric specialized in designing and prototyping web applications, focusing on Conversational Design, Travel, and Enterprise Business Modeling using React, TypeScript, and Node. Eric also gained experience as a UI Design Intern at Lightning Motorcycle, where Eric designed a digital 360° product showcase for the Lightning LS-218 model in the summer of 2014. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts + Practice from the University of Southern California, earned in 2017.
