Christine Bense

Christine Bense has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the food industry. Christine is currently serving as the Chief Supply Chain Officer at Turkey Hill since November 2021. Prior to that, they were a member of the Board of Directors at Petcurean since August 2019.

From October 2015 to November 2021, Christine held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Ventura Coastal, LLC. During their tenure, they successfully led the performance transformation of a multi-plant citrus processing operation, achieving world-class safety performance, cost improvement, and successful execution of capital projects.

Before joining Ventura Coastal, Christine worked at Kraft Foods Group, where they served as the Senior Director of Manufacturing Business Development and Engineering from October 2014 to October 2015. Prior to that, they held the position of Plant Manager at the Champaign USA plant and Plant Director at the Banbury UK plant.

Throughout their career at Kraft Foods, Christine held various other roles, including Associate Director positions in End to End and Continuous Improvement, as well as Business Unit Manager.

Christine Bense earned their Master of Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 1992 to 1998.
