Bilal Kurban

Bilal Kurban, MSc, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in statistical methodologies and data analysis. Currently serving as the Head of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis Group at the Turkish Statistical Institute since May 2002, Bilal Kurban oversees the development of AI models and collaborates on enhancing processes across the organization. Previous roles include managing key initiatives in data collection, administrative record management, and the establishment of the Building and Dwelling Register System. Bilal Kurban has also contributed to significant projects in both national and international contexts, particularly in modernizing data collection methods and ensuring data quality. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Middle East Technical University and a Master's degree in Data Science from Ondokuz Mayıs University.
