Erhan Çetinkaya

Erhan Cetinkaya serves as a Visiting Lecturer at İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi since February 2023 and holds the position of Chairman at the Turkish Statistical Institute since January 2022. Previously, Erhan Cetinkaya was Vice Chairman of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) from December 2019 to February 2022, during which involvement with the Bank for International Settlements and the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision occurred. Erhan Cetinkaya also held roles as Assistant General Manager at Vakıf Katılım between September 2017 and January 2020, and Head of Risk Management Department at BRSA from October 2015 to September 2017. Early career experiences include positions with BRSA as a Banking Auditor and Risk Management Specialist, as well as an Analyst at Cybersoft. Academic credentials include a PhD in Banking and Finance from İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi and an MBA from Duke University, along with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University.
