Altan Aldan

Altan Aldan, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Economist at the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, where responsibilities include researching the Turkish economy, preparing policy notes, conducting impact evaluations, and representing the institution in various national and international meetings. With prior experience as an Economist at the World Bank Group, Altan contributed to policy design on human development issues and served as the data correspondent for Turkey. Altan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Hacettepe University, a Master of Philosophy from the Tinbergen Institute, and a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from Middle East Technical University.
