Eveliina Salminen serves as the Sales and Marketing Manager at Turku Music Festival since February 2022, overseeing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, including budgeting, content creation, brand development, and new customer acquisition. Additionally, Eveliina holds the position of Chairman of the Board and Event Producer at FASHCENE, which organizes Turku City's first underground fashion show. Prior experience includes roles as Sales and Marketing Coordinator at LOGOMO, where responsibilities encompassed event marketing and sales, and various positions at H&M, contributing to sales and communications. Eveliina is pursuing further education in Fashion Marketing at Helsinki Design School and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Turku University of Applied Sciences.

The Turku Music Festival is Finland’s oldest continuously running music festival, having been founded by the Musical Society in Turku in 1960. It has evolved into a diverse urban event with a wide range of excellent music including grand orchestral concerts, chamber music, recitals, jazz, outdoor events and children’s concerts. The guest roster includes Finnish and foreign stars each year. The current artistic director is Klaus Mäkelä. Turun musiikkijuhlat on Suomen vanhin yhtäjaksoisesti toiminut musiikkifestivaali. Festivaalin perustajana oli vuonna 1960 Turun Soitannollinen Seura. Monipuolinen kaupunkifestivaali tarjoaa korkeatasoista musiikkia, mm. suuria orkesterikonsertteja, kamarimusiikkia, resitaaleja, jazzia, ulkoilmatapahtumia ja konsertteja lapsille. Juhlilla käy vuosittain niin kotimaisia kuin ulkomaisia huippuartisteja. Taiteellisena johtajana toimii kapellimestari ja sellisti Klaus Mäkelä.
