Tim Dean has extensive experience in the gaming industry, starting their career at Stormfront Studios as an Art Lead in 1995. Tim then worked as an Art Director at Treyarch and Neversoft before joining Microsoft in 2004 as an Art Director. In 2012, they became the Art Director at Turn 10 Studios, where they later took on the role of Director of Franchise Content. In addition to their work in game development, Tim also served as a Guest Professor at DigiPen Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2019. Throughout their career, they have been involved in various aspects of art and content creation, including overseeing the creation of assets for the Forza franchise and developing programs for early-career content creators.
Tim Dean attended UCLA from 1992 to 1994, where they focused on studying Art and Animation. Subsequently, from 1994 to 1995, they attended Communications Arts, where they further pursued Animation studies.
