Michael McKey

Michael (Joe) McKey is an experienced maritime professional with a diverse background in vessel operations and leadership. As the Owner of Rose River Touring LLC since May 2022, Michael specializes in small vessel cruises on the Lower Mississippi River. Michael has served as a Trip Captain for both Hunter Marine Group and Turn Services since June 2020 and January 2019, respectively. Additional roles include Captain at M&P Barge Co. from December 2020 to May 2023 and Master at American Queen Steamboat Company from February 2017 to July 2021. Michael's maritime career began at Turn Services as a Captain from September 2013 to February 2017. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Phoenix and an Associate of Science in Marine Transportation from Mountwest Community and Technical College.
