Amy Sheehan

Amy Sheehan currently serves as the Co-Head of Local Programmes at Turn2us, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Amy accumulated significant experience at ActionAid UK, where various leadership positions were held from September 2014 to May 2024, including Head of Programme Quality and Assurance and Contracts Development Manager. Additional experience includes contributions as a trustee at Kaloko Trust and various roles at Christian Aid focusing on programme performance and funding related to health and HIV. Earlier in the career, Amy served in positions at the John Snow Research and Training Institute, International HIV/AIDS Alliance, and worked in fundraising support for a Ghanaian NGO. Educational credentials include a Diploma in Leadership and Management from the Chartered Management Institute, an MA in Rural Development from the University of Sussex, and a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge.
