Amber Zuberi has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors and roles. Amber is currently serving as the Chief of Staff to the Founder & Senior Science Advisor at Turnaround for Children. Prior to this, they worked at Arabella Advisors, where they held the positions of Director and Associate Director. At ISTE, they were the Director of Grant Development and Strategy and also served as an Education Pioneers Impact Fellow. Amber gained experience in international development as a Graduate Consultant at USAID - Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) and as a Short-term Consultant at the World Bank Group. Amber also worked as an Advisor at the Pakistan Permanent Mission to the United Nations and held the role of Strategic Partnership Manager at Futures and Options. Their early career included positions such as Director of Operations/Acting CEO and Director of Alumni Impact at Teach For Pakistan, as well as being a co-founder and program coordinator for the organization. Amber started their career as a Senior Research Associate in the Financial Services sector at Standard & Poor's Vista Research.
Amber Zuberi began their education in 2003 at Swarthmore College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in Economics and a minor in Religion. In 2005, they participated in a study abroad program at The American University in Cairo. Then, in 2016, they enrolled at Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs, where they completed a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) degree with a concentration in International Development. Amber concluded their studies at Princeton in 2018.
