Aviva Steinberger

Aviva Steinberger is an accomplished professional currently serving as Chief of Staff, Senior Director of Strategy, and Director of Innovation Diplomacy at Startup Nation Central since November 2021. Previously, Aviva held the position of Senior Fellow at the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation from 2018 to December 2020. Between April 2013 and January 2020, Aviva worked at JDC as Director of Global Planning and Global Program Specialist. Aviva is the founder of Empire ERC (Economic Recovery Consulting), which operated from September 2009 to April 2013, and served as Director of Industry Development and Sr. Director of World Trade Center Business Recovery at Empire State Development from December 2001 to February 2008. Early career experience includes being a Portfolio Manager at D. G. Goldman Investments, Ltd from January 2000 to November 2001. Aviva holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and has completed multiple leadership and nonprofit management courses, including certificates from Harvard Kennedy School, the Society for Organizational Learning, and Cornell University’s Executive Education.
