Jodi Talley has significant work experience in marketing and communications roles. Jodi is currently working as the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at the Turnaround Management Association since April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Marketing and Communications at the same company since April 2020.

From 2018 to 2020, Jodi was the Account Strategist and Chicago Office Lead at mdg. In this role, they were responsible for marketing strategy, client growth, and retention, new business acquisition, and managing a team of nine marketing specialists.

From 2000 to 2006, Jodi was the Director of Development at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they were responsible for conceptualizing and administering various development and donor relations programs.

Jodi's earliest work experience was as the Manager of Marketing and Communication at Hub International (formerly Mack and Parker, Inc.) from 1996 to 2000.

Jodi Talley holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Writing, General from the University of Illinois Chicago. In addition to their undergraduate education, they have obtained various certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2014, they received a Certificate in Association Management from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership. In 2018, they obtained a Certificate in Financial Success for Nonprofits from Cornell University and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Littelfuse. Continuing their professional development, Jodi obtained a Certificate in Digital Marketing Strategies: Data, Automation, AI & Analytics from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2019. Most recently, in July 2021, they obtained an Association Digital Marketing Certificate from the Association Marketing Academy.
