Ilayda Oner Mermerbas

Ilayda Oner Mermerbas, MSc, currently serves as Deputy Country Manager at Turner Construction Company, where a diverse range of roles has been held since October 2015, including Business Development Manager and Project Engineer. Notable projects include the Iş Bankası Marmaris Education and Resting Facility, Istanbul International Finance Center, and various Sisecam Glass Factories. Ilayda has also held significant positions in several organizations, including Vice President of İPYD and BIM4TURKEY, and Global FLC Chair at the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Columbia University, a Master of Science in Construction Management from Boğaziçi University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Boğaziçi University as well.
