Nicholas Deitch is a Registered Architect with extensive experience in leadership and community service. As the Senior Principal and CEO of Mainstreet Architects + Planners, Inc., founded in 1983 alongside Michael Faulconer and later joined by Dao Doan, Nicholas has played a pivotal role in the firm’s growth and development. In addition to architectural practice, Nicholas serves as the President, Volunteer, and Board Member of the Turning Point Foundation, which advocates for and supports individuals facing homelessness and mental illness. Previously, Nicholas was a board member and Chair of the Ventura Port District from 2006 to 2013, overseeing the management of a significant California harbor. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

Turning Point Foundation is a Non-profit, community based organization dedicated to the recovery of persons with mental illness living in Ventura County. Our mission is to provide shelter, housing, rehabilitation, recovery and support services to adults disabled by mental illness reach their highest potential and become contributing members of the community, Our programs include Housing First Homeless 2 Home Street Outreach program, Our Place Safe Haven Shelter, River Haven Dome Community, Supported Transitional and Permanent Housing programs, Mental Health Rehabilitation Programs, Peer Support Wellness Centers and Quality of Life Improvement Peer Support Board and Care program.
