Sonya Hall Turner

Sonya manages all aspects of contract administration for TurningPoint's Commercial, and Federal, and State government contracts working closely with the TurningPoint management team to ensure business-oriented solutions for contracting and legal issues. She oversees several multiple award GWAC and IDIQ-type vehicles for TurningPoint, including the NIH CIO-SP3 and GSA Schedule 70 GWACS, and several SPARC and STAR2 contracts for TurningPoint's joint venture partnership. Sonya has over 25 years of legal and contracts experience and has worked both for and with in-house corporations and at a law firm. Before joining TurningPoint, she provided contracts support and engaged with vendors domestically and internationally in the healthcare, retail grocery, telecommunications, and broadcast communications, satellite telecommunications, and software industries managing contractual revenues of approximately $50-$65M.

Sonya holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; a Paralegal Certificate in Business Finance/Corporate Law for the Philadelphia Institute for Paralegal Training; and a Master of Science in Contracts Management and Procurement and Master of Business Administration both from the University of Maryland, University College.

She is a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), the International Association for Contract & Commercial Management (IACCM), and a Notary Public for the State of Maryland.
