Carl Hostrander

Carl Hostrander has extensive work experience as a software engineer and developer. Carl is currently employed as a Principal Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Turnitin since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Capital One as a Master Engineer from June 2019 to November 2021. Carl also held senior software engineer positions at Toyota Connected, Tractor Supply Company, Franklin American Mortgage Company, Dataium, Franklin American Mortgage Company (second time), Tek Systems, Southwest Airlines, and BluePhoenix Solutions. Carl'sroles varied from lead developer to senior developer, and they have been in the field since at least 2006.

Carl Hostrander attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1989 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
