Gailene Nelson has a strong background in product management and has worked for various companies in the education technology industry. Gailene is currently serving as the Senior Director of Product Management at Turnitin, where they are responsible for ensuring a unified experience across products, delivering AI innovation, and maintaining content standards. Prior to joining Turnitin, Gailene held roles at Pearson, where they focused on personalized learning and AI, and at CoPilot Systems, Inc., where they worked on a personalized learning platform for college students. Gailene has also worked at Apollo Group, Edtuit, Blackboard, Elluminate, Yahoo!, and Stata Labs in various product management roles.
