Paul Velez

Paul Velez has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Turo since June 2015, following several progressively responsible positions including Vice President, Senior Director, and Director of Engineering. Prior to Turo, Paul held positions such as Senior Software Engineer at FADE and JumpCam, where responsibilities included backend development and analytics service management. Additional experience includes roles at Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase as a Senior Systems Engineer, as well as early career positions at Axient Communications and American Express. Paul began academic pursuits at Arizona State University from 1997 to 1999.
