Ajith Jayawickrema

Ajith Jayawickrema has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. In 1991, they co-founded and became a shareholder of Las Iguanas. In 2009, they served as a Non-Executive Director at AQUA ITALIA LIMITED, and in 2010, they took on a similar role at Tampopo. In the same year, they founded and served as the CEO of Turtle Bay Restaurants, where they successfully expanded the business to 47 high-quality restaurants across the UK. Currently, they remain a founder, shareholder, and deputy chairman at Turtle Bay.

Ajith Jayawickrema completed their Bsc in Economics at the University of Birmingham. After that, they pursued an MBA at The University of Sheffield, specializing in economics, marketing, and management. Ajith later returned to The University of Sheffield to obtain another MBA, but the field of study for this degree is not specified.
