Kim Rapholz has had a long and varied career in the business world. In 1983, they began their career at Kidder Peabody as a New Accounts & Compliance Officer. In 1992, they moved to Protective Financial & Insurance Services as an Office & Operations Manager. In 2002, they became an Operations Officer at Ojai Valley Bank. In 2006, Kim joined Botanica BioScience as a Business Operations Manager. In 2012, they took on the role of Executive Assistant at Vascular Health Sciences LLC. In 2016, they moved to GranVida Senior Living as a Business Office Manager. Most recently, in 2019, Kim began working as an Office Manager/Accounting Assistant at the Turtle Conservancy.

The Turtle Conservancy is a nonprofit scientific and educational organization "for the conservation of turtles and tortoises around the world." Since 2005 the Conservancy has supported a highly successful breeding program at the Behler Chelonian Center along with many in situ research projects, adding to knowledge of chelonians.
