Manager of Virtual Ultrasound Operations at Turtle Health

Lauren Cristoferi, RDMS, RVT, RT(R)(MR) has over seven years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography and MRI technologist roles. Lauren began their career in 2013 as a General and Vascular Sonographer at South Shore Health, where they performed all requested sonographic exams as ordered by attending physicians in a timely and efficient manner. In 2015, they joined Premier Diagnostic Services, Inc. as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, where they reviewed patient's medical background and obtained any additional clinical history before the study. In 2017, they became an MRI Technologist at Shields Health Care Group, where they interviewed and screened patients to collect medical history. In 2018, they joined Boston IVF as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, where they reviewed the patient's medical history and prior imaging studies before the exam. In 2019, they served as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where they reviewed the patient's medical history and prior imaging studies before the exam. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Manager of Virtual Ultrasound Operations at Turtle Health, where they provide subject matter expertise on clinical ultrasound within a digital women's telehealth startup. Lauren also serves a critical role in building the ultrasound model from the ground up and is one of the first two sonographers in the world to successfully achieve high-quality diagnostic gynecologic at-home ultrasound through remote guidance in the SELF-HELP trial, published in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Lauren Cristoferi obtained their Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Imaging from Quinnipiac University in 2013. In 2014, they obtained their RDMS (OB/GYN) certification from ARDMS. In 2017, they obtained their R.T.(R)(MR) certification from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). In 2019, they obtained their Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification from ARDMS.
