William Nieves

William Nieves has worked in various roles in the field of industrial automation and business development. William began their career at Church & Dwight/USA Detergents as a Controls Engineer and Data Base supervisor from January 2002 to May 2006. William then joined Panasonic Industrial Devices Sales Company of America as a Product Manager in the Industrial Automation PM Group from June 2006 to June 2018. In this role, they focused on programmable logic controllers, human machine interface, servos, sensors, and R&D in Communications, Power management, and Mechatronics. William also gained experience in business process management using SAP. Most recently, William worked as a Network Engineer Business Development Manager at Turtle & Hughes starting in June 2018.

William Nieves has a strong educational background in the field of engineering. William obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia from 1992 to 1998. William then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, completing their studies from 2005 to 2008. Later, they furthered their education in Electrical Engineering by earning a Master of Science degree from the same institution, completing their studies from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, William has also obtained several certifications in various areas of expertise. In June 2021, they became a Senior Member of the International Society of Automation (ISA). In October 2018, they acquired a certification in Sustainability from Turtle & Hughes. In August 2018, they completed the Campus EXOS Switching & Routing certification offered by Extreme Networks. Furthermore, in July 2018, William obtained a certification in Panduit's Industrial Network Infrastructure.
