Andrew Grotto is an accomplished professional specializing in international security, cyber policy, and technology governance. Currently serving as the William J. Perry International Security Fellow and Director of the Program on Geopolitics, Technology and Governance at Stanford University's Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, Andrew leads research on digital innovation, automated systems, and enterprise cyber risk management. As President & CEO of Sagewood Global Strategies LLC, Andrew advises international clients on digital risks and cybersecurity strategies. Previous roles include Senior Director for Cybersecurity Policy at the National Security Council and Senior Advisor for Technology Policy at the U.S. Department of Commerce. Andrew holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Kentucky.
