Badri Sanjeevi has a diverse and extensive work experience. Badri currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Turtlemint, where they are responsible for leveraging technology to distribute insurance products quickly and increase insurance penetration in India. Prior to joining Turtlemint, they were the CFO of RAW Pressery, overseeing finance, tech, analytics, talent, and legal functions until its acquisition by Wingreens in February 2021.
Before RAW Pressery, Badri played a significant role as the co-founder and CEO of Mauj Mobile, a mobile media company. Badri also served as the Group CFO for People Group, which included companies like Shaadi.com, Makaan.com, and Mauj Mobile.
Additionally, Badri has been involved with various advisory and board member positions. Badri was an advisory board member for Flintobox and a board member for Makaan.com, which was subsequently acquired by PropTiger.
Earlier in their career, Badri worked as a telecom strategy consultant at Deloitte Consulting and held a senior finance manager position at T-Mobile UK Limited.
Badri started their career as a manager at Arthur Andersen before transitioning to other roles in the industry.
Badri Sanjeevi holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from INSEAD, completed in 2001. Prior to that, they obtained the ACA degree in Business Accounting from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 1994 and 1997. Additionally, they graduated with a Grad CWA in Accounting from the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India from 1991 to 1994. Their secondary education was completed at DAV Higher Secondary School in Chennai from 1977 to 1991.
