Swapnil Gawas

Swapnil Gawas has a strong background in engineering, with experience in various leadership roles. Swapnil is the VP of Engineering at Turtlemint since October 2022. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Engineering at Turtlemint from October 2020 to September 2022. From April 2019 to September 2020, they worked as a Principal Architect at Turtlemint. Before joining Turtlemint, Swapnil worked at Indus OS as the AVP of Engineering from October 2018 to December 2018. Swapnil also served as the Principal Software Engineer at Indus OS from January 2016 to September 2018. Swapnil's earlier experience includes working at Webaroo as the Director of Engineering from July 2014 to January 2016, Principal Software Engineer from April 2011 to June 2014, Lead Software Engineer from April 2010 to March 2011, and Senior Software Engineer from September 2007 to April 2010. Swapnil started their career as a Software Engineer at D. E. Shaw & Co. from June 2005 to August 2007.

Swapnil Gawas earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2003. Swapnil then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from 2003 to 2005.
