Gustavo Quintero is an accomplished researcher and educator currently serving as a Visiting Researcher Grant at the Helmholtz Information & Data Science Academy since August 2024. As a Becario Doctoral at the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas since April 2021, Gustavo focuses on implementing Monte Carlo algorithms and machine learning in the structural study of nanomaterials, particularly utilizing SAXS/WAXS techniques. Gustavo also provides online tutoring in physics and mathematics through Tusclasesparticulares since October 2019. Previously, Gustavo held positions as a Becario in the Nuclear Energy Technology Applications program at Instituto Balseiro, a Preparador in the Physics Laboratory at University of the Andes in Venezuela, and a Pasante in medical image processing at INABIO. Academic achievements include a Doctorate in Science and Technology with a focus on Physics at Universidad Nacional de San Martín and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universidad de los Andes (VE).
