Yael Hendel

Yael Hendel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Currently, Yael works as an Art Director at TUSHY: For People Who Poop, a position held since 2021. Prior to this role, Yael worked as a Designer at Fahrenheit 212 from 2019 to 2021, where they created designs, illustrations, and UI concepts for notable brands like Wells Fargo, Mondelez, and Ikea. Yael was also known as the company cartoonist during their time at Fahrenheit 212.

Before joining Fahrenheit 212, Yael served as a Visual Designer at Idean from 2018 to 2019. They then worked as an Art Director II at Epsilon in 2017, designing marketing campaign visuals for brands like Google Home and Google Assistant. From 2014 to 2016, Yael worked as a UI/UX Designer at Quixey, leading research and design for a mobile ads product and creating web-based interfaces for clients.

Additionally, Yael gained experience as a Graphic Designer at Estudio Garfunkel in Buenos Aires, where they collaborated with top fashion brands such as Desiderata and Portsaid to create collateral for stores, fashion events, and online marketing. Before that, Yael worked as a Freelance Designer under Yael Hendel Design from 2012 to 2013.

Early in their career, Yael served as a Design Intern at Arizona Public Media in 2011 and completed a Digital Print Lab Internship at The University of Arizona in 2010.

Yael Hendel attended the University of Arizona from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Visual Communications. In 2010, they also participated in an exchange program at Universidad de Belgrano, studying Graphic Design. Later on, they enrolled in General Assembly to pursue studies in User Experience Design, although the specific duration of this program is not provided.
