Thoraya Abdul-Rassol

Thoraya Abdul-Rassol has a diverse work experience. Thoraya currently works as a Legal Counsel at Tuatahi First Fibre, starting in July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Solicitor at Ellice Tanner Hart Lawyers from April 2021 to July 2023. Thoraya also served as a Legal Graduate at Auckland Transport from February 2020 to April 2021. Before their legal career, Thoraya worked as a Library Assistant at the Ministry of Justice - New Zealand from April 2017 to October 2019. Additionally, they held the role of Public Relations Officer at Waikato University Law Students' Association from February 2019 to September 2019.

Thoraya Abdul-Rassol completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Policy and Development Studies from Victoria University of Wellington, from 2013 to 2015. Later, from 2017 to 2019, Thoraya attended The University of Waikato where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB), specializing in Law.
