Rafael Quizon

Rafael Quizon has worked in various roles since 2008. Rafael began their career as a Corps Member for Teach For America. In 2008, they joined Chicago Public Schools as a Biology Instructor and Grade Level Leader, where they established yearlong goals and developed grade-wide intervention systems. In 2012, they moved to the University of Chicago as a Clinical Instructor. From 2011 to 2013, Rafael worked at Noble Schools, where they held the roles of Data Manager, Network Curriculum Developer, Biology Team Lead, and College Counselor. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at the NYC Department of Education as a Biology Instructor and Equity and Diversity Lead. In 2022, they joined CollegeAdvisor.com as a Senior Advisor, and Tutored by Teachers as an Operations and Engagement Manager.

Rafael Quizon obtained their Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College between 2004 and 2008. Rafael then obtained their Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from National Louis University in 2012. Rafael also obtained a Google Data Analytics Certificate from Coursera in May 2022.
