Andreas Schmitz

Andreas Schmitz has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Andreas began their career at EDEKA AG in 2010, where they worked as a Product Owner in Riskmanagement and Finance & Controlling until November 2018. In December 2018, they became the Managing Director at CRISAM GRC Suite and CALPANA business consulting Deutschland GmbH. In June 2022, they joined TÜV Rheinland Group as an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor. In March 2023, they took on a mentorship role at Aufsteiger.

Andreas Schmitz obtained a Bachelor of Science in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Fachhochschule Nordakademie Elmshorn in 2014. Andreas later pursued a Master of Science in IT Management from NORDAKADEMIE Graduate School from 2015 to 2017. In 2020, Andreas studied Financial Risk Management at Duke University. In 2021, they attended Macquarie University for a program called "Influencing: Storytelling, Change Management and Governance" as part of the Global MBA. Additionally, Andreas holds certifications including PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Senior Lead Auditor obtained in May 2022 and Krankenhauszukunftsfonds certification obtained in 2021.
