Henk Pieters has a vast work experience in various roles and positions. Henk started their career in 2001 as a Test Engineer and Project Manager at TNO Electronic Products & Services (EPS) until 2007. Henk then joined TUV Rheinland EPS B.V. in 2006 as the Director of Sales and Operations until 2009 when they were promoted to Managing Director at TUV Rheinland EPS / Netherlands, a position they held until 2012. In 2012, they joined TUV Rheinland Group and served as International Business Development - Global Key Account Management until 2017. From 2018 to 2019, Henk Pieters was the Head of Global Sales Wireless/IoT, and later became the Global Head of Sales, Marketing, and Communications - Business Stream Products at TUV Rheinland Group.

Henk Pieters completed their education at various institutions. In 2022-2023, they attended the NIMA, Nederlands Instituut voor Marketing, where they obtained a Diploma of Education in NIMA-B Business Marketing. From 2008 to 2010, Henk studied at Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, achieving a Postgraduate Higher Professional degree in Business Management. Prior to this, from 2005 to 2008, they also attended Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, with a focus on Information Communication Technology (ICT).
