Sebastian Kraatz

Sebastian Kraatz has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Sebastian started their career as a freelance IT Consultant and Software Developer, where they worked on various projects. Sebastian then joined TUV Rheinland (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. as an Analyst, where they focused on enhancing the company's online services in China. Afterwards, they worked at ELV Elektronik AG as an Industrial Training Semester Abroad, where they developed a proof of concept for an embedded smart home control unit. Sebastian then joined TUV Rheinland Hong Kong Ltd. as a Product Traceability & Environmental Information Management Consultant, where they provided solutions for product traceability and environmental management. Sebastian then moved to TUV Rheinland Shanghai and held positions such as Project Manager and Project Management Officer, where they managed IT projects and ensured project governance. Currently, they are working at TUV Rheinland Group as a General Manager and Global Head of IT Hub Management, where they oversee the leadership and team development of the IT team members. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in project management, software development, and IT consulting.

Sebastian Kraatz completed their education at the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer from 2003 to 2008, earning a degree in Computer Sciences (Dipl.-Inf. (FH); eqiv. M.Sci). In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Curriculum IT-Controlling Expert from TÜV Rheinland Group in 2019, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from the International Six Sigma Institute in 2016, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2011. Sebastian has also completed various online courses and obtained certificates in leadership skills, negotiation strategies, financial accounting, and human capital management.
