Martin Hanton

Martin Hanton is a seasoned professional in the fields of green energy and sustainability, currently serving as the Director at TÜV SÜD since January 2018. In this role, Martin leads metrology, consultancy, testing, and certification services within the renewable energy sector, overseeing the 'Flow Programme' as part of the UK's National Measurement System. Previous positions include Technical Director and Head of R&D, where responsibilities included shaping technical direction, fostering innovation, and expanding into clean fuels. Before TÜV SÜD, Martin held various roles at Sasol Technology UK, culminating in the position of Global Technical Expert, where leadership and strategic direction were provided for technology and manufacturing improvements.
