Teemu Sivonen

Teemu Sivonen's work experience begins in 2007 when they became a member of the Board of Directors at Sange Coop. From 2008 to 2010, they worked at Vaisala Oyj, first as an Automation Operator at the Radiosonde production line and then as an Electronics Mechanician at the Optics Team. In 2012, they interned at Vaisala Oyj as a Giant Leap Intern, where they implemented automated optical inspection (AOI) for production use. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Field Service Engineer at LifeMed Oy. In 2017, they became a Product Specialist at Topcon Healthcare Solutions EMEA. In 2018, they joined Tuxera as a Technical Support Specialist, and in 2019, they were promoted to the role of Technical Support Team Lead. Finally, in 2021, they became a Technical Product Manager at Tuxera.

Teemu Sivonen began their education in 2005 at Espoo High School for Adults, where they obtained their Baccalaureate degree. In the same year, they also attended Omnia Vocational School, specializing in Electronics Mechanician.

In 2009, Teemu enrolled at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics. Teemu completed their studies in 2014.

During their time at Metropolia University, Teemu also participated in an exchange student program at Dayananda Sagar Institutions in Bangalore, India, in 2012. This program lasted for four months and focused on Industrial Management.

In terms of additional certifications, Teemu obtained the PMC Level I certification from Pragmatic Institute in October 2021. Teemu later earned two more certifications, the ISPMA® Software Product Manager - Foundation and the ISPMA® Certified Software Product Manager - Excellence in Product Strategy (CSPM EL PS), from iSQI in April and June 2023, respectively.
