Ville Jouppi's work experience begins in 2000 when they worked as a PHP/Mysql programmer at Graftor Media Production. In 2001, they joined Nokia as a Senior Administrator, where they specialized in Tivoli monitoring and event management tasks. Ville also served as a substitute team leader and made decisions regarding the Tivoli system. In 2012, Ville joined Jolla as an IT guy, where they managed the company's infrastructure and provided support to Linux, Windows, and Mac users. Ville also played a role in creating standardized Windows images and managing firmware updates. In 2015, Ville worked at KPMG Finland as an Assistant Manager before moving on to Tuxera in 2017 as a Device Lab Engineer. Throughout their career, Ville has also worked as an ASCII artist/coder for Suomiscene and Demoscene, as well as a freelance writer for Skrolli. Ville has also contributed to the preservation of digital artifacts at Kasettilamerit, focusing mainly on the Commodore Amiga. In addition, Ville has experience in organizing demo competitions and managing the oldskool platform at Assembly Organizing.

Ville Jouppi pursued their education at the University of Helsinki from 2019 to 2026, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, they attended Lukio, but specific degree and field of study information is unavailable.
