Dorthe Thirstrup

Dorthe Thirstrup has extensive experience in television production and content management, currently serving as Program Director at TV 2 Danmark since May 2019, where previous roles included Content Chief, Channel Chief, and Editor. Prior to this, Dorthe held the position of Head of Programs at Strong Productions A/S and served as Commissioning Editor for DR1 at Danmarks Radio from 2013 to 2018, managing a diverse and engaging program portfolio while contributing to strategic channel planning. Dorthe's career also includes roles at +Plus Pictures, Koncern TV, STV, Easy Film, Forlaget KE Media, Strix, and Skandinavisk Film Kompagni, with notable achievements such as nominations and awards at TV festivals. Dorthe Thirstrup graduated from Danmarks Journalisthøjskole in 2002.
