Sumesh Kannathuparambil

Sumesh Kannathuparambil has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2011. In 2011, they were an Engineering Intern at Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., where they were responsible for troubleshooting faulty circuits and testing machines. In 2013, they returned to the same company as an Engineering Intern, where they were responsible for quality testing machines, improvising techniques in the lab, and building circuits for software developers. In 2018, they worked as a Trainee - Data Engineer at Mactores, where they were responsible for understanding the data to select features for developing predictive models, building prediction models, and deploying AWS Batch for batch predictions. That same year, they also worked as a Research Analyst at BRANDLOCK, where they were responsible for classifying scripts/urls based on their impact on client websites, analyzing e-commerce user shopping behaviors, and building a logistic regression model to find the likelihood of a prospect converting to a client. In 2019, they became Head of AI Enablement at TVARIT, where they developed strategies to help clients activate their analytics, developed a framework for assessing Digital Maturity Index for AI Enablement, partnered with industry experts for solutions for OT-IT integration, and managed teams/partners with industry expertise of IOT Automation and Digital Transformation. In 2022, they became the Director at Tvarit Solutions Private Limited, where they were responsible for developing and reporting business development, action plans, and marketing strategies, including budgeting, providing and leveraging feedback to improve the collaborative environment of the team, and working collaboratively with senior management to develop strategy and approach to defining business challenges.

Sumesh Kannathuparambil has a diverse educational background. Sumesh completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Industrial Electronics from the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education from 2009 to 2013. In 2018, they completed a Masters Program in Data Science from GreyAtom and a Microsoft Professional Program for Data Science from edX. In 2022, they are expected to complete a PG Level Advanced Certification Programme in Digital Manufacturing and Smart Factories from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Sumesh also has additional certifications, such as Learning GDPR from LinkedIn obtained in October 2019, Prolific Industrial Automation from Prolific Systems & Technologies Pvt. Ltd. obtained in July 2012, and Google Analytics for Beginners from Google Analytics Academy.
