Swapnil Sawant

Swapnil Sawant has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2018 with a summer internship at Tata Motors. Swapnil then went on to work as a project intern at Mahindra Rise in 2018 and as a marketing intern at Triumph Motorcycles Limited in 2019. In the same year, they also worked as a service engineer intern at BMW India and as a research assistant at Mahatma Education Society.

In 2019, Swapnil joined CU Phoenix Racing as a vehicle integration and technical support member. Swapnil continued to gain experience in the automotive industry with a role as a vehicle integration and simulation engineering intern at Damon Motorcycles in 2020.

Swapnil's experience also includes their involvement in Coventry University Students' Union as a senior course representative and course representative for automotive engineering. Swapnil also worked on their master thesis project at Veitis Ltd. in 2020.

Swapnil's most recent and current position is with Tvisi Motors, where they are the CEO and interim CTO. The company focuses on redefining mobility with zero-emission vehicles powered by hydrogen. Joining in May 2022, Swapnil is leading the efforts to revolutionize the way we move and promote clean and sustainable transportation.

- From 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Automotive Engineering at Coventry University.

- In 2020, they enrolled at the Chartered Management Institute and completed a degree in Strategic Management and Leadership, with a focus on Management.

- Also in 2020, they obtained a Global Professional Development - Creative, change, and innovation certification from the Chartered Management Institute.

- Prior to their Master's degree, from 2016 to 2019, they studied at Pillai College of Engineering, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Automotive Engineering.

- From 2013 to 2016, they attended Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Polytechnic and obtained a Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
