Mike Vorhaus

Mike is the CEO and Foudner of Vorhaus Advisors. Mike founded Vorhaus Advisors to bring his expertise in digital media and gaming, as well as his deep connections in the media, tech, and entertainment industries, to help his clients.

Over 25 years at Magid, Mike built a consulting and research practice in the Internet, new media, connected TV/OTT, and digital entertainment spaces, including gaming, video, livestreaming, social media, etc.

Previously, he spent 15 years in university transfer of technology (Caltech) and fundraising (UC Berkeley and UC Santa Barbara). Mike also worked as an Advance Man in the Carter and Clinton White Houses and was a Page in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Mike also invests in and advises start-ups. First investment was Digene which sold to Qiagen NV. Another notable investment was Widevine which sold to Google. He also invested in Wired Logic which sold to Dealer Track. More recent exits include Tenor (sold to Google) and Sapho (sold to Citrix).

Mike is also a member of the Screen Actors Guild and appeared in 2009 in "Imagine That" starring Eddie Murphy and Thomas Hayden Church. Mike also provided consulting services to Warner Bros. regarding "The Matrix" and "You've Got Mail".
