Shariq Ahammed

Shariq Ahammed is a seasoned professional in power electronics with a comprehensive background in electric vehicle technology and research. Currently serving as Deputy Manager in Research & Development at TVS Motor Company since February 2024, Shariq focuses on the development of on-board and off-board charger platforms for electric vehicle powertrains. Prior experience includes a role as Electronics Engineer at Valeo, where Shariq contributed to the implementation of DC ultra-fast on-board chargers and various power converter technologies for electrified mobility. Shariq's career began with a research internship at Saint-Gobain Research India, working on IoT and wireless power, and included a project trainee position at NTPC Limited, where Shariq developed high-frequency converters for improved efficiency in power systems. Academic qualifications include a Master of Technology in Power Electronics and Drives from Vellore Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
